As a former ehow writer I enjoyed monthly residual income from 30 "How To" Articles I wrote between March 2009 and March 2010. As you may know, ehow ended their writers compensation program which left many writers looking for other sites to publish on to replace their lost ehow income.

Writing ehow articles was quick and easy and so is writing lists for ListMy5. I see many other similarities between ehow and ListMy5 and I'm hoping that the ease of use and the growing popularity amongst the online writing community will soon translate to more traffic and earnings from my lists at LM5.

Every time I write a new list I'll post it here and tweet it out. I'll also occasionally post interesting lists written by other LM5 writers. LM5 writers are very helpful on twitter and will re-tweet others' lists that are marked #LM5, so feel free to join in on our Twitter party and share some interesting lists with your followers!

LM5 is a great site to use to drive traffic to your blogs and content published on other sites such as infobarrel, and the like, since you have the opportunity to add 5 links to each of your lists.

Hope to see you at listmyfive.com.

Waiting for My Second #LM5 Payment

First, Happy New Year to you all! I hope the holidays were good to you and your family and friends and left you rejuvenated and ready to tackle 2012!

After neglecting to add new lists the past few months, I was pleased to see that I've qualified for my second payment from List My 5. Woohoo! Should I really be that excited about making $22 in 16 months? Hmmm....I guess I shouldn't complain since I didn't invest anything but my spare time. But I do have to admit I was hoping the site would have provided more income on a steady monthly basis by now. I know this is partly my fault for not adding lists consistently but since LM5 shut down the forums I haven't been very inspired to write any more lists.  The site just doesn't have the same feel anymore without the member interaction in the forums. The communication between writers, as well as the LM5 staffs updates, helped me stay focused and disciplined. Anyway, since I can't talk to anyone in the forums now, I thought I would jump on this blog (which has also been highly neglected) and see if anyone is still listening.

Are you still actively adding lists to your LM5 portfolio? Have you seen any improvements in your earnings from month to month? Can anyone tell me what date payments usually go out? Has anyone gotten their December payment yet?
